Creating this website has been a long learning process, but I suppose that’s nothing new. In hind sight, it was a bit like learning to take pictures: sure, you get the hang of point and shoot pretty quickly, and you’re on top of the world. Then you realize there’s a whole world out there of skills, effects, and thoughts that you never noticed before. A certain attention to detail (or, in this case, hard coding font sizes). You feel like you’re back at square one and don’t even know where the trail you’re on is going. So you get a good night’s sleep. In the morning, you look again and the forest isn’t any thinner. Eventually, you shrug and take a step.
Start walking, it’s the only way to find out where the path ends.
A lot of words to say: I’m still figuring this out, but I’m excited to share what I know and learn as I go. Currently, I’m celebrating the little victory of publishing my first ever website, imperfections and all. I hope there are some people who will enjoy learning with me.
